Talking angling, fishing the Staffs/Worcs Canal, chatting with Ian Clarke and Chris Jones

I was only in Scotland for a couple of days but, due to the intensity and the travel, it seemed much longer.

In fact, I didn’t get to bed until 3.30 a.m. for a few hours sleep, before I was back in the land of the living again.

I kicked the day off with my weekly angling and Welsh football chats for Jeff Pearson’s afternoon show on Bayside Radio, followed by lots of other stuff.

Always time for fishing though, and late afternoon I set off for the Staffordshire/Worcestershire Canal, where I met up with my friend, Ian Clarke.

Talking of friends, I encountered Chris Jones, as he was out jogging.

Both of them feature in the video.

  1. Enjoyed your video on Sedgley Beacon. Me and my daughter built the bench at the far end by Wolverhampton Road facing West about 12 years ago. Best place to sit and watch the Summer sunsets.

    1. Thanks, Neill.
That’s great, it is a beautiful place and some of the sunset views are magnificent from the area.
I moved a few miles west in 2020 and we now get marvellous sunrises from the living room window.
