A fishing session that did happen
After my last attempt to cast a line, which proved futile, this time I was back on track.
A short morning visit to a pool in pursuit of roach and everything went to plan.
I fished, I caught, and perhaps more importantly in terms of context, the car didn’t get bogged down in mud.
I presented a single grain of sweetcorn over loose corn and every single roach was both fin and mouth perfect.
The pool was still heavily coloured after recent downpours.
It didn’t deter the fish though and they were feeding well.
