The Park Hall flood
Although it’s been a few days now since we’ve had heavy rain, the road alongside The New Saints’ stadium is still off limits.
In fact, access has been denied for some time now, as heavy rain upon heavy rain has caused the area to become saturated.
Wildlife quickly takes advantage of changing circumstances and I saw half a dozen coots that had moved in.
I captured footage of the floodwater and that’s viewable in the accompanying video.
It has been even higher than it currently is.
I think the council blocked the road because I’ve previously seen cars trying to make their way through.
Mind you, I’m in no position to talk, as you can see from the video.
