December 25 angling and Christmas Day fishing thoughts
Just a short session but I have been out this morning on a pond.
I caught a few roach, nothing big but then again it’s not a huge venue.
You always have to take the size of the venue into account when considering the weights of individual fish.
I was fishing off the rod tip in water that was just over two feet deep.
After angling, I went to church and then recorded a short clip sharing thoughts on what I think about fishing on Christmas Day.
Tackle: Greys Prodigy TX 12’ rod. Shimano 3500M reel. Maxima Chameleon 4lb line. Drennan 0.6g waggler. Drennan Super Specialist size 14 hook.
Nature notes: Male sparrowhawk flew through the trees that flanked the water’s edge in attacking mode but was unsuccessful.
