A surprise while fishing prawn
All is revealed in the video but I had a very pleasant surprise while fishing with legered prawn on a size 8 hook.
I was on a small pond (again) and it was just a short session.
I did have a tap but apart from that, the fish was the only one on the bank.
It’s a fine line sometimes, isn’t it?
As long as you’re on the right side of it though, that’s what counts.
Hi Stewert, thoroughly enjoying your blogs and the accompanying videos. Your simplicity and how you plan and make the most of your time is great. Love all the content and it’s nice that is incudes wildlife and sermons wildlife etc. A couple of questions I may, do you use mono or braid pain line for pike fishing and if float fishing in deeper water would you use a larger float. I go for mono, I’m usually fishing quite close to the bank so no real advantage in braid.
Yes, the float has to do the job, I think you’ll get the feel whether you need to increase in size or not.
