Fishing and Welsh football on Bayside Radio
Once home after the angling session, it was time for my weekly chat with Jeff Pearson.
Jeff presents an afternoon show on Colwyn Bay’s Bayside Radio and we record an angling slot that goes out on Thursday and a Welsh football one for a day later.
We always get questions and one this time was from Katie, who doesn’t like live baiting and asked me for my thoughts.
Perhaps I should do a blog post on that subject?
It was a good weekend for Colwyn Bay FC, winning 3-0 against Pontypridd United in south Wales, so we were able to talk good news for a change, as far as the Seagulls’ fans were concerned.
Hi Stewert, thoroughly enjoying your blogs and the accompanying videos. Your simplicity and how you plan and make the most of your time is great. Love all the content and it’s nice that is incudes wildlife and sermons wildlife etc. A couple of questions I may, do you use mono or braid pain line for pike fishing and if float fishing in deeper water would you use a larger float. Thanks
Matt
Thanks, Matt. Nice one.
I go for mono, I’m usually fishing quite close to the bank so no real advantage in braid.
Yes, the float has to do the job, I think you’ll get the feel whether you need to increase in size or not.
Thank you Stewart,
You’re welcome, Matt. Tight lines.
