You know you’re ill when…

I’ve been having a very good week. No travelling to work means that it feels like I’ve booked a holiday.

Albeit short ones, I’ve done numerous angling sessions and thoroughly enjoyed them all.

When I went to bed last night though, I felt ill.

By the time morning came round I’d had a rotten night.

In fact, I didn’t get up until 3.00 p.m.

I’ve only drunk water today and I’ve had no food.

I’ve kept my night clothes on all day and I haven’t left the home.

You know you’re ill when you cant even go fishing.

  1. Hi Stewert, thoroughly enjoying your blogs and the accompanying videos. Your simplicity and how you plan and make the most of your time is great. Love all the content and it’s nice that is incudes wildlife and sermons wildlife etc. A couple of questions I may, do you use mono or braid pain line for pike fishing and if float fishing in deeper water would you use a larger float. Thanks

    1. Thanks, Matt. Nice one.
I go for mono, I’m usually fishing quite close to the bank so no real advantage in braid.
Yes, the float has to do the job, I think you’ll get the feel whether you need to increase in size or not.
