A change of plan but I still went fishing
My original angling plan was to hit the upper Severn before work.
However, heavy rain in the last few days has meant that the river is rising quickly with coloured water, so not what I wanted.
This is where the internet is very useful, as you can check the relevant website for the latest information.
I decided to go lure fishing on the Montgomery Canal instead.
Although not in flood, nevertheless it was still a murky colour.
I flicked a small lure on a 0.7g jighead into a few likely places but I didn’t even get a touch.
Never mind, at least I’ve been fishing.
Plus, it’s got me wanting to go lure angling again. I haven’t been for a while.
