Three generations nature watching

It’s been great to have our girls and grandchildren stay over with us for a night.

Both our children live in Staffordshire, the eldest in the south of the county and the youngest in the north, so it’s always a blessing when we get together.

The eldest, Rebekah, has become quite interested in nature in recent times, so she in particular wanted us to go nature watching.

They went berry picking in the afternoon and saw a muntjac, then together at dusk, we all set off for the woodland to set up camp in anticipation of encountering creatures of the night.

We had a calling muntjac about twenty yards away.

Then, Becky and I went for a slow drive along local lanes, where we saw two foxes and a badger.

Finally, we went for another walk along the immediate lane but on that occasion, nothing was showing.
