Released in 1959, Pillow Talk is a romantic comedy.
Starring Doris Day (Jan Morrow) and Rock Hudson (Brad Allen), the two share a party line and this infuriates Jan because every time she wants to use the telephone, Brad is on there smooth-talking women.
She complains to the telephone company and in a clever twist, Brad (who she has never met) invents an alter ego called Rex Stetson, a wealthy Texan.
Rex woos Jan and the start seeing each other.
Then she finds out and she’s furious but it ends up with Jan and Brad getting married and settling down happily ever after.
A great film, with a very clever plot.
