Monday memories: Kai Edwards and as long as your bait’s in the water
With Kai Edwards having signed for Connah’s Quay Nomads this season, it was nice to catch up with him briefly before last Saturday’s game at Park Hall.
When he was at The New Saints, following the Welsh Cup final victory in 2016 both Kai and Ryan Brobbel gave me their respective image boards, that had been on display at the Racecourse Ground, Wrexham.
Naturally, I got them signed, and they’re both on display in my man cave at home.
When I saw Kai last weekend, I asked him if he remembered what he wrote. He did.
Great memories of a great day and ones that I’m constantly reminded of as both the players are watching over me every time I walk in the room.
