Fishing for roach
After I’d completed my post-match duties from the Swift Hesperange game, I then switched immediately to my pre-match Connah’s Quay media responsibilities.
By the time I’d done everything it was mid-afternoon, but still plenty of time to do some fishing.
I was only planning an hour or so anyway and, with maggots in the fridge, I went for a float approach after roach.
On a reed-fringed pool and up against lilies, it was very windy at times, and with it coming directly at me, it was difficult to cast accurately.
