Two maggots on a size 14 Drennan Super Specialist hook did the trick and I caught lots of fish, with it being one of those sessions where you lose count.
Certainly as far as perch and roach were concerned anyway, as I had just one tench.
Line strength was 4lb and the brand was my trusty Maxima Chameleon.
I’ve been using it for years for the lower breaking strains and I work on the basis that it’s never let me down so why change.

I’ve lived there for over two years now and I don’t take the views for granted and I never will.
I just bought a cheap Tenkara rod and will try it out probably next week. I’ll let you know how it goes!
