It was certainly action all the way and in the short time I was there, I caught half a dozen tincas, lost three and netted a few bonus silvers.
The rod was a Fox Barbel Special 1.5 lb test curve, the reel was an Okuma Zeon and the 6lb Maxima Chameleon went straight through.
A 1/3 ounce flat lead, a small shot and bead created a 6” hook length and a single grain of corn on a size 10 Drennan Super Specialist hook completed the tackle used.
I fished over sweetcorn and brown crumb.
A very busy session, I didn’t even drink the flask in full.
