That’s what you do as an angler, isn’t it?
You store things in your mind for future plans.
I’ve done it with pike, for example, where I’ve had issues with them when after other species in the summer and then returned in the winter to target them.
The roach that I’ve been catching while pursuing tench have been decent enough, so when I’m focusing on them later in the year I’m hoping to improve on the quality.
Like life, it’s nice to have plans for the future but don’t allow them to distract from the present.
