Tench on the bank and another species on the radar for future sessions

It was a very pleasant morning as I cast out and settled back to enjoy the fruit of my labour in the kitchen.

The first cuppa of the day.

Fishing over brown crumb and sweetcorn, I was quiver tipping a single grain of corn on a size 10 hook.

It was a short 2.5 hours session and I banked three tench and a roach.

The six pounds line strength isn’t deterring the silvers and they’re definitely on my radar for later in the year.
