Fishing with an old friend
It was nice to catch up with Ian Clarke again and he was in the next peg, so we were able to chat as well as fish.
The last time we fished together, if my memory serves me correctly, is when we were both at Queen Victoria School in Sedgley, and his dad took us to the middle Severn.
We were only children then and I can remember us joking about the ‘weed fish’ that we caught.
This time round though, he had also netted three tincas when I packed away.
The reason I left earlier than Ian, of course, was because work was calling.
However, I’m sure we’ll be back on another tench session together sooner rather than later.
