I caught three tench and they’re featured in the video below.
A couple of the bites were savage takes that pulled the rod round but the other was the gentlest of plucks.
All three were hooked in the corner of the mouth and put up a good fight.
Not so much with younger anglers but certainly for those of my age, the tench is the favourite fish for many.
You can see why as well. They are magnificent creatures and I’m thoroughly enjoying pursuing them.
