Back where I left off on the piscatorial front
From the dusk footage, the video moves to dawn, as the following morning I was up first thing to do some fishing.
After five days without casting a line, it was nice to be back on track.
I wasn’t desperate though to be out on the bank, far from it. As I say on so many occasions, passionate but not obsessed.
With several weeks of summer remaining as far as my own angling calendar is concerned, I picked up where I left off, with tench the target.
On arrival at the lake, I mixed some brown crumb and sweetcorn, moulded it into cricket ball size lumps and baited an area three rod lengths from the bank.
