Killing two birds with one stone and making the most of every opportunity by fishing the River Severn in Wales — Interviewing Jack Edwards as he signs his first professional contract

After an initial wait of about five minutes, the fish moved in and I had a bite every cast in the next two hours or so.

I caught predominantly chub, with two gudgeon and a bleak.

Once I finished, I drove through the countryside, once again picking up the A5 but further on, as I made my way to the home of The New Saints.

The flowers in the video are dotted loosestrife, which I noticed growing in the lane where I parked my car when I was fishing.
