Once hooked, in typical bream style it turned in the water, submitted and let me draw it to the net.
The only potential issue I had was if the hook parted company with the fish but thankfully that was not the case.
There aren’t many bream in the pool so I was rightfully buzzing once I’d secured it in the landing net.
I did have one negative experience though from the session, when my chair broke.
The frame sheared on both sides at the point where the back joins the seat.
You can see it in the video, the metal is just a couple or so mm thick.
Poor construction and a thumbs-down for Trakker.
I have been a fan of their stuff over the years but, just from a confidence perspective alone, I’ll be looking elsewhere for my next chair.
