Another early morning bream but thumbs-down for Trakker

This is the time of the year especially when, generally speaking, early morning and late evening are the best times to go fishing.

It was the former in this instance, as I drove to a small pool for a short session at prime time.

There are lots of roach in there and, in spite of fishing with 6lb line and a size 10 hook, I caught plenty.

To put it mildly, they’re not pressured and that makes a massive difference.

Although the pool has a healthy abundance of underwater vegetation and lilies, there are still a few relatively clear patches and that’s where I cast the single grain of corn.

I didn’t use brown crumb on this occasion, just fed loose grains.

I’ve caught a few bream from the venue previously and that was the case this time as well.
