Children change holidays
In between fishing and football, I went to the holiday park pool with my granddaughter.
She loved her time away with us and the on-site pool was high on the list of things she enjoyed the most, along with a daily visit to the ice cream parlour and the beach.
We knew it would be a different vacation having Nyah with us and in many ways we fitted it around her.
I can remember what it was like when I was a child going on holiday and we wanted her to have the same exciting experiences.
She did and she loved it.
The bottom line is – and I’m certainly not complaining – that if you have children, holidays – never mind life – is very different.
