Wedding anniversary fishing at Trearddur Bay
While away on holiday, it was our 36th wedding anniversary.
Although I mentioned that in a previous blog post, which actually was the day itself, the reason it’s referred to again is that I don’t blog in real time when on vacation, for obvious reasons.
The video starts in Holyhead and I was there first thing, getting ragworm from the tackle shop.
The next clip was out on the rocks at Trearddur Bay, watching a float gently bobbing away on the surface of the sea.
It took a while before I got my first fish and I did wonder if God was punishing me for fishing on my wedding anniversary or whether my wife had put vinegar on my bait…
As it was, I ended the short session with a number of wrasse, both ballan and corkwing, plus a blenny.
