A piscatorial Meatloaf angling session — Staying one step ahead with brown crumb — Wedding anniversary memories

A piscatorial Meatloaf angling session

There’s invariably a video in the blog post and the one this time also covers the tackle used on the small pool session.

I caught roach, as is usual for these type of venues, but as you can see from the lead image, I also netted a nice bream and tench as well.

I lost a second tinca, that took me into underwater vegetation, hence the Meatloaf reference.

No angler wants to lose decent fish but if you look at it from the positive side of things, I’d have definitely taken the two-fish option before I cast a line.

I was fishing over corn and brown crumb about three rod lengths out, which in effect was the middle of the pool.
