Starring James Stewart as Peter Morgan and Ginger Rogers as Francey, the professor and the nightclub singer fall in love at first sight in the 1938 movie, Vivacious Lady.
Not only that but they also get married immediately.
Every time they are alone though, things conspire against them.
Plus, it takes a while before they pluck up the courage to tell Peter’s domineering father and mother.
In the end they do though and it’s a movie with a happy ending.
