Hwyl fawr, north Wales, a very high tide and holiday birding

Again, no binoculars involved but saw a pied wagtail at Rhyl and curlew and shelduck at Talacre.

This time with my binoculars and a walk along the salt marsh to the RSPB Point Of Ayr hide was a productive one.

Little egret, long-tailed tit, Canada goose, wigeon, brent goose (2, 12), redshank, pintail, oystercatcher, curlew, sanderling, knot, dunlin, tufted duck, great spotted woodpecker, moorhen, dunnock, collared dove, great black-backed gull, common gull, skylark, stonechat.

Hwyl fawr, north Wales, goodbye. It’s been a great week. Wythnos bendigedig. See you soon.
