I’m on a carp fishing overnighter – Live blogging from the water’s edge

2.30 a.m.

I’m still awake and, like Diana Ross, I’m still waiting.

7.00 a.m.

Nothing doing. A very quiet night as far as fish action is concerned.

Never mind, there’s always tonight.

As they say, watch this space…

P.S.

It’s England v Hungary on television this evening, so football instead of fishing.

  1. Twenty pounders are monsters to me Stewart …I’m doing a few nights myself from Friday on the lower Severn a place I know you know well .
Hoping for a Barbel but will be tough on a low river.
I am also trying my first Zander
    Tight lines

    1. They do go to 30+ in this lake but like all big fish, they don’t queue up to be caught.
Nice one! I do love the lower Severn and have some great memories over the years.
Tight lines on the barbel and zander!

    1. Thanks, Dean.
Just twenties. In fairness though, I haven’t fished it much for carp.
