Still without a fish but still going strong.
It’s very calm now, just the usual creatures of the night can be heard.
In particular, tawny owls have been quite vocal.
What I really want though is a one tone screamer accompanied by a blue light.
Twenty pounders are monsters to me Stewart …I’m doing a few nights myself from Friday on the lower Severn a place I know you know well .
Hoping for a Barbel but will be tough on a low river.
I am also trying my first Zander

They do go to 30+ in this lake but like all big fish, they don’t queue up to be caught.
Nice one! I do love the lower Severn and have some great memories over the years.
