🎥 Movie review: The Time Travelers (1964), starring Preston Foster, Philip Carey and Merry Anders
A low budget B movie, The Time Travelers inspired the TV series, The Time Tunnel, which began life two years later, in 1966.
In fact, watching the film reminded me very much of the series.
My wife, Debby, wasn’t that keen on the movie but I thought it was ok. It wasn’t an expensive one to make but well-produced with just $250,000 to work with.
I thought that Steve Franken (who plays Danny) looked familiar and, when I researched, I found out he had been in a number of Bewitched episodes.
Now there’s another great television series.
