Back on the football pitch at last, a gardening job to start the day and a mini-jigging session after perch to end it
I originally picked up a calf injury while playing Wednesday football.
I tried to make a comeback on a Friday game, where I pulled up and hobbled off.
Then, it was a Tuesday fixture that saw me limping away.
This time, I gave it proper space to recover and, I’m glad to say, I came through intact.
That was yesterday evening and this morning I was up for an 8.00 a.m. gardening job.
It’s a regular slot and the girl in question is lovely. She lets me in, goes to work and I lock up afterwards.
I do appreciate the trust that she puts in me very much indeed, and it goes without saying, I would never do anything untoward.
I don’t even think that way, never mind do it.
The lure of lure fishing has been pulling me in of late and that’s where I went this evening.
Just a short session on a lake, it was nevertheless a fish-filled one.
Small perch but all great to catch with a mini-jigging approach.
You can follow the session in the video.
