Another premium bonds draw and, once again, we were happy with the reveal
As my wife and I don’t retire up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire that early, we’re usually around for the premium bonds reveal, which is just after midnight.
It is an important part of our monthly income, with July’s bonds adding £275 to the pot.
My wife led the way this time with £200 (1x £100, 2x £50), while I had £75 (1x £50, 1x £25) but, as it all goes in a joint account anyway, we always see the big picture.
We were happy enough as well with the total. Yes, of course, we’d like the big one but we’re realistic and that’s always an important ingredient in life’s mix. Isn’t it?
