👨⚖️ What a difference a week makes
New Year’s Day seems a long way back in the past and Christmas Day even more distant.
I’m just happy it’s normal routine rather than the long jury trial I was expecting this time last week.
That’s life isn’t it, it’s always moving on.
They say, what a difference a day makes but a week can be just as interesting.
Seven days ago I was preparing to go to crown court the following morning.
By the end of the week, instead of getting ready for months of jury service, I was discharged.
Good, bad or indifferent, you never know what’s around life’s corner, do you?
