🎣 A morning angling session, followed by the last radio show slot of the year
With daylight, prior to my weekly angling recording for Bayside Radio, limited it meant just an hour or so of fishing this morning before I had to leave. I continued my pond pursuing and, after yesterday’s roach, I was particularly confident.
However, it was back to blanking. Although I did have a few basic knocks on the float, nothing developed beyond the sucked maggot stage. I fished with a single maggot on a size 18 (Drennan Super Specialist) hook, beneath a Drennan crystal waggler 0.8g float. The line was Maxima Chameleon straight through.
Then it was back to a warm (it’s quite chilly out at present) bungalow and my radio chat. I didn’t film at the water’s edge but I did capture footage sitting in my chair at home. Prior to the headset recording, I share a few thoughts on recognising that we’re all angling ambassadors.
