📻Talking fishing on Bayside Radio
Once home after my first fishing trip of the new month, there was time to shower and change, in advance of my weekly angling chat on Bayside Radio with Jeff Pearson. We record it on Monday morning and it goes out on Thursday afternoon.
The radio station is based in Colwyn Bay, north Wales. I’ve never been there but I have checked out the website and it looks like a very nice place. Via the internet, programmes go out around the world, not just in the immediate area.
I don’t know the listening figures, whether people switch off when ‘the fishing guy’ comes on, or maybe they go up. I would have leaned towards the former but they are very keen for me to keep doing it, so maybe it’s the latter.
What I try to do though, is keep my contribution – as I answer questions and chat – away from the technical side of things and make it something that even non-anglers can appreciate. Hopefully it’s working.
