🗣️ Hello, April, and a few personal thoughts
The older you get, the more real the statement that ‘time flies’ becomes, and certainly so on a personal level during April, as this is my birthday month.
All the money in the world could not purchase a magic magnet, to slow down the progress of time.
The clock ticks equally for all, as the minutes become hours, weeks, months and years.
I’m philosophical about it though, as I advance through the decades. Change what you can and just get on with what you can’t.
Above all though, make the most of life, and I’m definitely doing that.
I’m in my fourth month of retirement and, to say I’m enjoying it, is putting it mildly.
During March, I started working a few hours here and there, and I’ll be looking to continue – and also add to the portfolio of opportunity – during April.
I’ve already received a job offer but it was full-time, which is not necessarily what I’m after, although you always have to be open-minded, of course.
Perhaps you run a business and you need an extra pair of hands from time to time; maybe you’d like some help with media or marketing. If so, get in touch. I’m open to anything.
