🎣 Angling 🌳 The great outdoors | Quality perch from the Staffs & Worcs Canal followed by a walk down the lane to church
I’ve now set the alarm on my iPhone for 4.30 a.m. from today but, even then, on a local venue with minimal travelling, I realised I could have got up much earlier.
If you’re not a morning person, then the thought of having to stir at that time, could have you shaking your head and opting for another slot instead.
On a personal level, although I was never a fan of early starts when I was younger, now I actually enjoy them. In my current season of life, where I have a lot more time on my hands, life is much more flexible.
The fishing again – as per my last visit – consisted of an all-perch catch, with some nice ones in the net. Following the session, I went with my wife – and joined later by my granddaughter- to our local church.
We walked – which is always good if you can have a church that close to home. As my blog is called Welcome To My World, I’ve included footage from along the lane. After all, my life is more than just fishing. Honestly.
