Behind-the-media scenes, as The New Saints men make it 25 consecutive wins, and the press conference for the women’s game in the capital
Media involvement for the weekend’s games began with writing the match preview for the men’s fixture and press conference interviews with both Craig Harrison and Greg Draper, ahead of Connah’s Quay Nomads and Cardiff Met Women respectively.
With the men in action on the Friday evening, it was a resounding 5-1 victory for the JD Cymru Premier champions against Connah’s Quay Nomads, who play at Flint.
There were five different names on the scoresheet as well, with Ben Clark, Josh Daniels, Danny Davies, Declan McManus and Jordan Williams all finding the back of the net.
Unfortunately no clean sheet, as Jack Kenny scored for the home side.
It was 4-0 at the time though, so nothing more than a consolation.
That’s now 25 consecutive victories for The New Saints and the lead at the top of the table has been extended to 23 points.
