The Strange Woman (1946)
The movie, set in early 19th century Bangor, tells the story of Jenny Hagar (played by Hedy Lamarr).

She uses her beauty to manipulate men for money, working her way through three in the film.
After causing the death of the first and second, in the end she dies herself after trying to run her husband, John Evered (George Sanders), over with her carriage.
Ultimately, she reaped in her life what she had sown in others.
