Weather stopped play

I enjoy football-related travel, and I was looking forward to a couple of days in Pembrokeshire with The New Saints, as we were due to play Haverfordwest County in the Cymru Premier.

In fact, I was particularly pleased that we were staying in Milford Haven at Tŷ Milford, which is adjacent to the sea.

I’d got my tourism bug sorted with a night walk on the day of arrival and a daytime one before we left for the game.

However – and it is understandable due to the weather – the game has been called off.

I was at Park Hall (TNS’ ground) when the decision was made, prior to leaving for Pembrokeshire.

Every cloud has a silver lining though and I’ll be able to enjoy our granddaughter being with us over the weekend now.

Plus watch some Christmas movies, I’m enjoying those at the moment.
