When the sea fishing going gets tough, the tough get going
With strong winds forecast all week, I knew fishing was going to be a challenge.
Nevertheless, I was still determined to be out there.
On session two, I spent about thirty minutes float fishing off rocks to no avail.
The swell was twelve feet or more at times, with waves crashing over the rocks.
You have to be realistic but you don’t have to give up.
After some exploring, I found the perfect spot.
I caught four species of fish: ballan wrasse, corkwing wrasse, tompot blenny and pollock.
