The land of my fathers

With a game for The New Saints at Ruthin, there was no team bus so everyone went in cars.

For me that involved driving through Llangollen, crossing the river, making my way through the horseshoe pass and then on to Ruthin itself.

I’m proud to be English but I’m also equally proud of my Welsh heritage and so on that front I do feel both in equal measures.

If we were talking passports, I’d definitely be dual nationality.

Whenever I’m in Wales though, it’s always that side that comes to the fore.
