A very enjoyable shallow pond pioneering session

I do fish a number of spots when it comes to my small pond adventures and I’ve added another to the list.

It is very shallow, as you can see from the accompanying videos, and also has lots of fallen leaves on the bed, as it’s surrounded by overhanging trees.

One thing about these type of places is that you never know what’s in there until you give it a go.

I did and I was pleasantly surprised.

Three species of fish was a result.

The session was less than an hour and by the time I finished, the commotion of catching had pretty much killed the swim anyway.

It was my usual approach of small waggler and two white maggots on a size 14 hook.

The water was less than a foot deep.
