Looking ahead to the Hibernian game
The round three draw has now been made for the SPFL Trust Trophy and The New Saints will be travelling north of the English border to play Hibernian B.
From a club perspective obviously you want a home draw, but on a personal level as a groundhopper, an away game at a new venue is perfect.
With the fixture due to be played at Meadowbank Stadium in three weeks time, I’m looking forward to it very much indeed.
The exact date hasn’t been confirmed yet but if it does involve an overnight stay in Edinburgh, rather than outside the city itself, that would be the icing on the cake.
