It was great to get the domestic season underway again and even more so with a victory.

The 2-1 win against Connah’s Quay Nomads at Park Hall was The New Saints’ first victory in the Nathaniel MG Cup since October 2018.

It didn’t look good initially though, as just twelve minutes in and it was the visitors who took the lead.

However, by the break, courtesy of Jordan Williams and Josh Daniels, we were in the driving seat for the first time in the game at 2-1, and that’s how it ended.

After the final whistle, I interviewed head coach, Craig Harrison, and Jordan Williams.
