Simple things often bring the most pleasure
It was another beautiful sunrise as I woke and looked across the valley.
I was thinking how much of a blessing the back dormer has been, since we added it to our home.
We didn’t have it because of the scenery but rather so that we could create extra space.
However, it’s certainly been a big positive as the view across the valley is now much better than just from the living room.
As I scanned the woodland, I reflected on how it’s often the simple things in life which bring the most pleasure.
It’s very much like young children on Christmas Day, they sometimes end up playing with the box rather than the present itself.
