It was extremely wet and I ended up sitting in mud and the reason I got it all over my face at the end was due to wiping the rain from my skin with muddy hands.
I didn’t realise how bad it was until I looked in the car mirror and as I was ready to go home by then, I left it until I had my shower.
I was going to get my wife’s reaction on camera but she’d only just got up.
In fairness, I was out early and back likewise.
As far as angling time is concerned, it’s about quality over quantity.
