We all need a pit stop from time to time
It was 7.30 p.m. and I said to my wife I was feeling tired, so was going to have a lie down on the bed.
I’d already got my night clothes and dressing gown on, which was good, because I didn’t wake until 5.00 a.m.

In motor racing, when a car needs a tyre change or some other adjustment, it takes a pit stop for a break.
In life, our bodies need this from time to time and that’s exactly what mine had.
It wasn’t planned, it just happened. I lay down, thinking I was going to have a nap for thirty minutes, and woke 9.5 hours later.
Listen to your body. Even the most healthy of people need a pit stop every now and then.
