It was a very slow session but once again I was just on the right side of the line.

I knew I might not get another bite of the cherry, so slipping the second hooked tench into the landing net was a good feeling.

That’s fishing for you though, isn’t it?

We don’t go and catch quality and quantity every time, do we?

In fact, sometimes we don’t even catch at all.

However, the fact always remains that as long as your bait’s in the water then you always have a chance.
