Unfortunately, that was the case back home as well and the garden suffered.
We did manage to rescue most of the plants though via the watering can.
It’s been great this weekend to get some proper rain again.
On Saturday evening, the passing storms were distant (although we did have a power cut for an hour) but we were close enough to experience rain.
Talking of rivers, my own ponds also needed freshening as well.
I had to top them up recently with the hosepipe and even in the space of a week or so they’ve dropped a couple of inches.
